Senior portrait season is in full swing here in South Central Alaska and we’re having the best time. We love meeting Class of 2016 seniors from all over the Anchorage, Eagle River, and Chugiak area. It is always fascinating getting to know them, learning about their accomplishments and interests, and hearing about their plans for the future.
They are always introducing us to new places to shoot – we have been to some new lakes, some new waterfalls and new forests. And of course we continue to find new and different perspectives at favorite venues. We explored Girdwood and Alyeska with Tory from Chugiak High School and Portqage with Dillon – also from Chugiak High School. Alex from West High School took us to Taku Lake Park in Anchorage – a place he goes fishing all the time. More recently, we took a trip out to Matanuska Glacier. Now that was a trip! That location is normally a little out of our regular range, but we sure had a grand time taking photos with our seniors. What an incredible place! The state of Alaska sure does help us create some epic senior pictures.
We have taken some great senior pictures so far this year and are excited about what the next several weeks will bring. There are a lot more opportunities out there to capture some great senior photos of members of the class of 2016!
