Senior Portraits with Mary Beth in Eagle River, AK

Mary Beth and Senior Photos

It is always fun to create high fashion looks whether in the studio or on location. Mary Beth was a great choice for this look when we were planning the different portfolio looks for our Senior Program this year. She is one of our 2020 Senior Models and Ambassadors this year. If you know MB, you know that she is a pretty down to earth and natural kind of gal who really loves to smile a lot. She did a great job of showing that she can really rock this other type of look.
There are some fabs downtown Anchorage locations for senior pictures. You may recognize where Mary Beth is – F Street – with it’s brick style pavement. That is such a fun spot. And MB looks so very chic here on the sidewalk in front of Steamdot Cafe on the corner of 6th Avenue and F Street.

Fashion Photography
Using a very classic and minimalist approach to lighting and background, we started Mary Beth’s portfolio session in our studio in Eagle River. We knew we wanted some of these final images to be in black and white. One of our favorite fashion photographers is Richard Avedon. It is no mistake that some of these images are inspired by his fashion work.

About Mary Beth
Soccer is a major deal for Mary Beth. She was a soccer MVP and oh by the way, she cannot live without soccer. Did we mention that she loves soccer? This 2020 Senior from Mat-Su Career Tech is enthusiastic and friendly. Her favorite thing in her closet are her bell bottom button fly jeans. She is a gal after my own heart. We are REALLY looking forward to her senior photo session this month at Matanuska Glacier. Woot woot!
Which look do you like best? The studio fashion photos or the urban on location looks?
