2025 Bear Paw Photo Contest Festival Favorite
Every year we look forward to holding the Bear Paw Photography Contest in conjunction with Jitters and the annual Bear Paw Festival in Eagle River and Chugiak.
This year’s exhibit includes photographs that were selected from over 160 photographs. Photographers entered under one of three classes: Adult, Teen or Youth. All the photos in this show were taken in Alaska after January 1, 2024. There were eight categories that they were able to enter in: Eagle River, People, Cultural, Scenic, Fauna, Flora, Aerial/Drone, and Creative. All Youth entires were placed in an Open category.
Vote for the Festival Favorite!
Take a quick minute after you have viewed the exhibit (either in person at Jitters or here online) and vote for your favorite photograph. The photos you see in the grid are thumbnails. To see the whole photo just click on the photo and it will open in a larger version. You can vote through 5:00pm on July 13th which is the last day of the Bear Paw Festival this year.
To vote for your favorite
- On a phone: Click on the photo you like the best and then tap “Vote For This Photo!” message that appears.
- On a computer: Hover your cursor over your choice and then click the “Vote For This Photo!” message.
We’ll announce the Festival Favorite winner on Monday, July 14th.
