We love getting to meet new friends and that especially goes to dogs! When Seniors ask if it is ok to include their dog, it is a request we will never turn down. While we may have to do some of our own tricks, photo sessions with dogs are always a blast.

Senior Photos with Your Dog
Your senior photo session should be personal, about you and your life. So, why not bring your best friend? Including your pup can add fun, personality, and plenty of genuine moments to your senior photos.
First, we’ll help you choose a location where your dog feels comfortable. A familiar park, field, trail, or family property are all good options. Also, think about your dog’s energy level. An active dog may enjoy a session with room to run. A calmer dog will photograph better in a quiet setting.
Before the session, give your dog a little exercise. A good walk burns off extra energy. However, avoid tiring your dog too much. You still want your furry friend ready for photos.
Next, bring treats and a favorite toy. These items can help you get your dog’s attention. They can also create natural interactions between you and your pet. In addition, bring water and a leash.
During the session, we’ll create a mix of posed and candid photos. Start with a few simple portraits together. Then, play, walk, or relax with your dog. These activities often create the most authentic images.
Most importantly, enjoy the experience and be patient. Your dog may not sit perfectly or look at the camera every time. That’s okay. Those unexpected moments often become your favorite photos.
